"That'll do"

Throwin it down a little bit eh... I planned to do mine with the 250 too, cuz I'll probably have to fly it inside.

I haven't been able to fly for like, three weeks... whenever the weather is nice, I'm in the office

Kick Arse snjbird!!!

Loved the music too.....

You didn't look as comfortable inverted as upright but that was totally awesome! Hey! Me too.... In fact for later challenges it will come to a point that I wont be able to show how.
I might have to enlist you for later challenges as you got the ideas down on HOW to learn orientations and your WAY better than I...... Interested in helping this go forward when I run out of talent?

Bob,

Yes I would love to help, I know Russ and Stewart are really keen to help too! We had a great time setting up and shooting together at the funfly. We tried to rope some of the 3D masters into the "Challenge" but they were busy breaking blades on the other side of the field

That 250 flight was very demanding, as you know, it is very quick, and there was a moderate breeze, I am really enjoying getting back to basics! I had to try with the 250 as I have posted many Stick banger flights with it, but after seeing your nice controlled flight I felt the need to try!

I have to agree, going back to the basics has been a Godsend.

In trying both of these challenges, I became aware of my weaknesses. Being a bit of a perfectionist, my flying has improved X5 in the last few weeks.

Love the challenges!

Very impressive, but it was not in the form of this Challenge. Sorry. The idea is for us to post videos of ourselves attempting the Challenge as its laid out.

agree just uping the steaks a little its the very slow piro you need to take note of not the over all flight , so yes we can all piro but to do it slow
look at the flight its the slow piro and the landinging this is what you all should be amiming for !
heck i can do tic tocs piro flip etc but this takes rc heli flying to the next level
ask bob im sure he will agree
so i set this as challenge number 3 a slow piro it will utilise all ya sences

No sorry I do not agree. Challenge #1 was about showing your "hover" orientation skills AND the bonus points were a SLOW piro....

Challenge #2 is already out. Read the challenge.

Challenge #3 I will not go back to showing what I have already asked. #1 is hovering skills and the slow piro was part of #1.

Thanks for posting that for challenge #1 as it shows exactly the skills everyone was trying to do

Bob

FYI, I am moving these to the Flight School forum where I think they fit better than here.

I am sure you guys can guess #3..... It will be combining what was learned in #1 and #2. Basically do #2 (follow the box) but piro 100% of the time while flying the box. I will describe it in detail soon and what the extra credit will be
