Align RCE-550 manual ?

Hi everybody, i bought a HK450 project that came with a RCE-550 Align gyro and i'm looking for a manual for it. I'm following Finless 450 pro build and i'm at the gyro setup step but i don't know if there's some settings i have to do on the gyro .

That's a pretty old model gyro. It also has no remote gain capibility. You'll have to make the gain adjustments on the gyro itself. Can't tell from the picture if it has a DS/AS switch (Digital/analog servo)

Otherwise, set the normal/rev switch so it corrects in the right direction. Moving tail left in HH should cause servo horn to move forward. If it moves the wrong way, change the switch setting. Then set the max tail slider movement using the limit pot on the gyro so that there is no binding at maximum throw of tail slider. Centering the slider or offsetting it to achieve 7*-9* right pitch is up to you, but do that first before setting up the gyro. Hover, adjust gain, hover, adjust gain, etc., etc., etc.

You might consider looking for a used Spartan Quark on the for sale forum. I've seen them as low as $65.00 and a much better gyro.
