Any view on comparison with an Aligh G-Pro
I'm toying with buying a 550L Dominator; I've been considering a 550 for some time and this may be the time to take the plunge, but I'm not sure what to do about the electronics.
I suspect I'd not get much use out of my trusty 500ESP after getting one, so I suspect that will be surrendering its Futaba R6203 RX and YGE-120LV ESC (I think the gov is great and the std Talon ESC sounds under-rated at only 90A), but then the question is what to do with the FBL choice available to me. Use the supplied G-Pro unit or the CGY750 from my 500ESP. Thoughts? I like the sound of bluetooth setup via my iPhone, but ultimately I want the FBL that flies best. Steve

No? Well, I may have changed my mind about the Talon 90 as it has a very impressive BEC. To use the YGE I'd need an external BEC to drive those brushless servos.

Just got myself the gpro + Bluetooth dongle.... $250 altogether.... Yes it's convenient... But you only need to setup once, and tune it a second time.
While being able to tune and setup on the field is great... Both systems offer that feature. But from the price point... $299 for the CGY.... Is a much better bargain. And I see you have the 8FGS which is even better, because you can tune your gains on the fly all from your transmitter. I'd stick with futabawarez. Gpro hasn't had enough time to prove itself as a game changer... The way I see it is that gpro is the same as 3gx but with Bluetooth support. They were going to add Bluetooth support for the 3gx...it seemed they scrapped that idea.

Gpro has internal mixing isn't that a big difference from 3gx which needed to do the mixing in the radio.
