RRAMS Fun Fly

This was fun today. My club held their annual fun fly. It's mostly older guys with planks but a more friendly group you would be hard pressed to meet. They even like us heli guys.

I have to go to another party so I can fill in more details later but I maidened the Vortex VX1e and it feels like I have a brand new heli. Very different feel. Very responsive and "connected" I have a pretty boring video of the maiden but it does show some tail bobbles at 1950 rpm. 1850 seems smoother.

This is all right out of the box all factory defaults.

I like it.

Met a great guy named Scott today. He's a full scale pilot operating out of our local airport and has some pretty nice twin engine nitro planes at 89" and 118". Very very good pilot. Very interested in helis and was checking over the Rush in detail today. He said when the time came we would be talking more. I think we can convince him to get a Rush.
