So do you think if I ordered from Esprit now, it would ship at end of the month, or would I be in the next batch, which could be some time away?

No tellin. I ordered in Feb. haven't been among the recipients yet.

It will be here in late January, late February, mid March, late March, and all units will ship by the end of April.

Esprit reckons that the next shipment (3rd batch) will clear all backorders with some to spare. However this was info they posted a week ago so it could be that lots of people have added their orders to the queue.
Not that I am watching of course, but the "Available Stock" number on their website has gone from 21 to 19 since they posted that info on r c g r o u p s.

Very zen of you BTW.

I'll do a full review on arcHeli if you're on the fence.

In a perfect world, you would have received it last week and be attending Coffs this week, I would be mind blow by it in my hands and have no doubts about getting one.
But alas the world is not perfect.

Esprit only have 5 sats in stock, I want 10, no USB adaptors etc.

I just pulled apart my DX8 as the pitch stick was like sandpaper, found gunk in the tension adjuster, cleaned and regreased with tri flow, its a lot better but not like new.
I know I would not have these problems with a JETI...

If you order now you get the $100 voucher to spend against more Sats and USB Adapter when they come in. I'd hope that all RXs, ECSs and TXs come with the latest firmware but as you say, its not aperfect world.
I wish I was heading to Coffs, it's getting cold down here in Mexico.

I mainly want the adaptor to change the sat PPM from neg to pos or vice versa, as apparently thats what I need for the Brains...
So without it I won't be able to use it on any of my heli's

You won't need a USB adapter on new receivers as they have 3.11 on them. Then all you need to do is use the device manager to set all your settings via wireless. You only need the usb cable to update the firmware of the receiver.

I am shipping all my receivers with 3.11. I can update them before I ship them.
