yup, his frenzy blew up, was flying straight down the run way, then boom, we all heard it blow up in the air, i think the blade roots gave and the blades broke

Yep, the blades decided they wanted to leave.. They landed on oposite sides of the runway.
They were align 600A blades, after getting back to the pit area the guys noticed they had a thin solid black stripe on them, and remembered something about a recall on them a while back.
After I got home I did a search and found out that I had purchased a pair of recalled blades. Part #GF07xxxx. Sucks too, I had just rebuilt the heli after having tail problems resulting in another crash a week before the funfly. This time the heli was a total loss. The only parts I got were electronics and the engine, muffler and the head ans swash.
Geggor hooked me up with a sweet 600N Pro which I spent the week getting together and flew this weekend. WOW, what a nice machine.. At least I am back in the air again.
