Hy there!!
It seems new flybarless system is out with a true bailout as bavarian demon has.
Price is very good -- 250 bucks -- and as it seem it support lot of features.
What do you think? I canīt see any HFthread so letīs start at least here.

I can't add another topic for Spirit FBL under "R/C Electronics Support" thread.
I wish to post a review about it since 2 months ago.

I have 1 unit.
Tested it on gaui 200 upto Rave 450. This FBL is fantastic not only for its price but also the well it flies, feels better than any FBL I tried (just for me! may be other will not agree).
-Setup is very easy via PC.
-Can be mounted on side as well.
-The rescue feature work like BD-3SX and will save your heli in a crash.
-Flight logs feature is also very helpful for diagnosing heli problem.
-The best of all is the support from the owner is nice - just shoot him a mail.

I just ordered one! Hoping it is good. I emailed the owner and he also confirmed Gov function will be added in future updates, possibly the next update!

It has everything I want in a FBL. Rescue, Vibration analysis, Logging, and soon to have Gov.

I have high hopes for this! If it goes well I will order them for all my Heli's! 257 shipped to the US. While it is more than the Ikon, it is much less than the BD3SX.

With that being said, almost all the FBL's are rumored to have rescue mode soon. There is a new Ikon being released soon, the new V-Bar will have it, along with the new Beastx supporting rescue mode.

We will see how these all stack up, but hopefully some competition drives prices down even further!

If the ikon rescue mode works well and they keep their price at $220 with sales down to 200 or less I will probably go that route.

I think the Spirit FBL is going to have a very short period to prove itself before this new wave of rescue features reach the market. I am on board to test it as I want rescue mode now without paying 500, but, in the future, my decision will be much more difficult.

Perfect I think Iīll give it a chance as well !
At the moment Brain is not so reliable for me but maybe new update will fix it.
For me it looks like only bavariandemon and spirit fbl are able to do a true rescue.
I mean with automatic collective --- that is a big difference for me since I have to know which side it flies actually.
As I heard it is patented byCaptron so it is not that easy task to get "the full version" into all units but maybe I am wrong.
I hope Iīll report my feelings too!

The Spirit also supports inverted rescue. It will decide which is quicker to bail you out and use that way. This can save precious time in an emergency. The BD3SX does this as well.

My only question so far is what is the highest frequency supported for digial servos? It only mentions 50hz as default. I hope its much more than that.

You can download the Setup Software for spirit and play with it using in Demo mode, for you to be able to familiarize with the gui.
It supports 50Hz - 333Hz (pls see it on the software in demo mode).
When your unit arrives and you are ready for setting up your heli, I'll recommend use the Setup Wizard, so that you can select the "Preset Model" that you want (450 size upto 700 size Heli).
By default preset model works very well.

Awesome! I am very excited about this! A little worried that I jsut spent 250 bucks on a brand new FBL with very little user comments but if it works as well as you say it will be a great deal!

That's is right! but if someone from a great pilot commented or use it I think it will be popular in the future.
A lack of marketing strategy as of now and also the looks is not as attractive as any other rival FBL. The good thing: it is made up of metal casing that can survive in a crash and it size is smaller than BeastX that can be mounted anywhere even on a small heli..
