With all the information that we are getting on the FAQ thread, HeliFreaks will have a real source of information to help them find the basic information they need and resources to hopefully help them in the hobby. I will continue to post hot topics that I see that generate allot of energy.

The following links are from manufactures where most of the answers on the above Q&A come from through their customer support and many different threads in this forum. This thread is for information only and by no means the only answer on these topics. Now they have a choice of how they get the information. Everyone needs to educate themselves on their particular topic and then make the best decision for themselves on how to proceed !

I'd also add:

Just as good of bearings as Boca, better price.

Yes, you can. The only reason the extra channel is nice is for changing governor settings remotely. If you plan to run a governor, you'll need a governor like the Multigov that doesn't depend on a receiver channel to set RPM.

Don't enable the governor so that the engine RPM and, hence, engine heating can vary.
Don't set your throttle curve too high (above 60% or so) to avoid overspeeding.
Don't run as lean as you would if the engine was properly tuned.

well the first kit to come out had the incorrect thickness clutch liner. i replaced mine with a hirobo evo liner they are little thicker then the stock one so i have a earlier engagement on mine. but if the gap is to big between the liner and the shoe it causes the the clutch shoe to over flex causing a fracture and metal fatigue. or it could be, just a defective part. but proper way to do clutch is to tethlon tape the clutch shoe with 3or 4 layers around, then jb weld the liner into the bell.( i know the factory does the liner but not correctly) so jb the inside of the bell then slide liner in then press clutch shoe into the bell and let setup over night. Next pop the shoe out (after set up) and the clearence should be perfect. it may grab on the first start or 2 but will wear in.
