Default Will a 5083 replace a 3100G

I have a Logictech 2100T which came with a 3100G servo and worked great on my Blade 400. For some reason the 3100G burned up. I am presently using a Spectrum degital servo which does not give me the same result. Will the Hitec 5083 servo accept the special signal from the 2100T since it is supposed to be the same as a Hitec 5000 gyro.

Thanks.

I went ahead and used the 5083 as if it were the 3100g and it works great.

Thankyou for answering your own question here and not leaving it hang. I had the same problem with the LTS-3100G and found an HSG-5083MG for a better price, but still not so good that I'd want to order if it won't work. This info is just what I needed.

Got the 5083 and it actually works better and at a lower operating temperature than the 3100.
