Awesome! You guys are moving right along! Like I said, if anyone knows the proper setup it is Heathy!
Btw. The card works just fine for me. From what I understand, it is an exact Vs2 ripoff of the original.

Also, keep in mind. On the bench if the original head speed change from norm to idle up 1 isn't a large leap. You may not even hear it. Once you get your blades on and load the system, what you will hear above 50 throttle where it initializes will change. The motor will over speed a little and slow down. This tells you the gov just kicked in if the Norm head speed is relatively low as your setting. Hit ID 1 and you should hear a head speed increase. Sometimes it takes a few moments for the gov to kick in.

I can confirm what Heathy has stated.

On the bench - you won't see the gov function as it should. I would guess it's a handoff issue between YGE and SK. With blades - it should work fine.

No luck guys.

headspeed in hover, no matter what Idle Up is about 1000.. :/ Something is WAY wrong. The headspeed numbers on the left side of the graph (that indicate 2k-ish) are WAAAY wrong too..

I've re-done the steps describe 4 times now at the field. always the same result...

Im at the field now if anyone has any suggestions.

=] at the field quick suggestions from the UK, run a wire from the main pack to a ground pin (lower rail) on the unit, and check the Tx throttle settings? 0-40% normal, 60% idle1 100% idle2...... your normal looks like 20%?

in normal mode, looking at the setup software, I get a linear curve from 0-100% IU1 snaps to flat 60%, IU2 snaps to flat 100%.

In normal mode headspeed NEVER goes above 1000ish, even at full throttle.

=] you miss the point? normal isn't a linear throttle, it should flat-line 40% at mid-stick from a zero ramp. the throttle you are seeing is in limp home mode, like if the sensor failed...

Tab into your skookum screen again and see if you can see the blue light blink from your sensor? I bet $$ here it isn't working. I grounded mine also. Good advice from Georgi here. Don't loose heart! I have been here myself!

Sensor LED? I'm ony using the phase sensor cable described here..

https://www.helifreak.com/attachment...0&d=1316003857

edit: it's connected directly to the IO-C port on the 720; NOT via the PowerBus.

I can see now you may not have checked into the Skookum screen to validate if the rpm/phase sensor is even working. Lets clear this up and here is how you do this.

Tab into your view tab. Upper left on the Skookum screen. 2nd one over. You will pull up pic #1. Then tab that. It will pull up the voltage servo rail and also the Rpm sensor data in pic #2. With your heli powered up but on TH. (I also pull my blades while doing this just to be safe. It only takes a minute).
Now roll the motor by hand and watch the sensor toggle reading on the Skookum screen. If the sensor is sending out a signal the dot will light up blue as it rotates.
Sorry it took so long for my response. I had to break out my camera to do this so it would show the pointer.

Thanks for doing that!

nope.. Never blue. 7.7-7.8 volts, but never any indicator next to the RPM Sensor Toggle.
