Hum...12 teeth with the kit??
What kit are you talking about?
Warp comes with a 16, and if your talking about your tarot, well mine came with a 14.

Oh ok!!
Wasn't thinking about the slant gears
I'm still using straight ones till my stock ends.
On mine i'm using 14t with gov to 60 , 75 and 85%
With slant it's equiivalent to a 11.

Even then it is only in the last 15 to 30 seconds on my longer flights. The Turnigy nanos don't do this however. Run fantastic right up to the end.

The cool thing you are going to notice are the lives of the batteries. I have half a dozen 1300 6s packs pushing over 350 cycles on them that still fly well.
What's your 6S packs ?

Got to test some Desire Power 1800 35C 6S lipo's from Rigidheli.com today and they are GREAT!!
Cg is spot on, they weigh in @ about 269gr with connectors.
Flight times I still have to work out but @ 2900 rpm I got 5min of stickbanging with 50% left

Cheers!

x2 ... my canopy won't fit if I have my pack sticking out very far from the radio tray. Did you test CG with or without the canopy?

Here are some batts that have good performance for under 30.

Nano 1400 40c 3s was about $12 x2 and your in business!

has anyone tried diff brands of packs and found any power/flight time diff?

just now i'm using turnigy 35c 1300mahs and after about 2.5 mins there is quite a voltage drop as performance goes. wondering if anyone has found anything a bit better?

cheers

I'm running the 45C and after 3 minutes of just hovering they're a lot warmer than I thought a 45-90C battery would get. Not too pleased so far but haven't really flown it due to not having set collective pitch range yet. I like the price though, paying $40-$50 for batteries sucks.

i assume you mean nano techs? it is well known the normal turnigy packs are better than nano techs for performance and longevity so maybe give those a whirl? i think they are cheaper too!

cheers
