1850 rpm O.S. 91 pumped 2 new theories for issues. 1st, the engine is a bit rich and leaning it could help with kicks. 2nd, the gyro, rudder and elevator servo run along the top bearing block and could be picking up some noise causing unpredictable horizontal and vertical tail kicks. This is actually the most logical theory. |

I would guess that a rich running engine will be the cause. On the other theory you have you could try a ferrite ring around the servo cable near the receiver.

Keep your Stratus, if you want I can lay up a Extreme canopy for you, I made a mold of the original so I will always have one, I have a Stratus canopy that I am going to do the same with.

I would highly recommend Arizona Heli for a canopy, I just fitted one to my Fury Extreme
Bill does a great job, And no, I wouldn't swap my MA machine for a T-Rex 700 - the MA machine will far out-last the T Rex 700, its built to last ! Stuart |

Well my 700 hasn't been in the air yet, but i have to say, my stratus didn't even compare to my 500 or 600. The tail was unsteady and the power was bad. I always had shakes and finding the culprits was just becoming a hassle.

Seriously? You know Kyle and Ray Stacy live in NY? If there was indeed a problem with your Stratus, it would've been so easy to have them take a look at it and help diagnose the problem instead of spending hundreds of dollars to trouble shoot in the dark. LMAO!

Yea I hardly ever make it out to the field though. Maybe once or twice every two months. I wish i knew that earlier though but its too late.
Does anyone want a cheap stratus with an arizona heli canopy, a brand new tail assembly, and tons of spares? |
