Do me a favor, when you buy an Align heli can you please tell me in advance so I could sell mine.

Now that is funny Sorry vburge but I have been in the heli part of the hobby for approx 20 years and have seen so many brands come and go . It is really sad today as there are so many brands it is very hard for most to just survive. I really think there will be many more losses in the years to come. Brand loyalty is a thing of the past, people will jump brands so fast when the next shiny model comes out and 6 months later do it again which makes stocking parts for a shop a total nightmare . Take care

no.... brand loyalty with TT was always there,
All these other so called "brand name heli's" looks more and more like kids toys bought from toys r us, more and more their sleazy sales campaigns sells off these freakware, gotta look like a freakasaur, with legs for skids, and a freak canopy, these ghouls and ghosts takes away the elegant lines of a TRUE TT heli, the G4 is the BENCHMARK of what every heli should look like, now we are left with expensive creepware brands, it's like EA perverted westwood studios, degrading the soild foundation and relentless passion and design of what a product should look like.

Harsh read, guy.

There are lots of sweet helis to be had, and from interesting companies; just go fly.

If you're in the depression of a hard winter, look on the bright side. Daylight Saving Time starts in 3 weeks.

Not the same no, there is a lot of "sweet" mechanically sound heli's, looking mechanically good and flying exceptionally good sure, a dime a dozen.... until the strange picasso like concept artist they contracted added the canopy and legs, ruins the whole surreal experience of what a heli should be like, TT- nailed it mechanically and aesthetically inside out to form a presence when seeing it absolutely no other heli can come even close to, the only company out of 2 or 3 perhaps is align that has kept their design's the sanest of all the other freakware out there.

I agree that all other Helis have morphed into looking like toys. The Raptor 550 just looks the part of Helis I grew up with. I think it's the best heli package available. I love doing the same moves on a setup that costs half the price.

If you don't like a heli, don't buy it.

if you don't like change, then I guess you need to go hide under a rock.

I assume you don't like the new corvette, or Ferraris either then if you don't like the aesthetic changes. the mechanics are better in every new model, and the looks too.

of course i do like change but only if it improves the overall package, change what is needed and keep or slightly modify what has been perfected TT has done it with the G4 range, superbly, the other companies made good heli's looking like toy heli's.

and no, i do like new corvettes ad ferrari's.
