I purchased this model used (went though everything) and finally ready to do the set up. I cant seem to find any info on headspeeds. Pinion/main gear is 16/200 with a HK3226-1600Kv Scorpion motor. In my Vcontrol it defaulted to a 20 tooth pinion. I'm wondering if that 16 tooth might be to small.

The last owner was running a 6s 2650 which also seems small. I have a 6s 3300 HRB that makes the CG spot on.

Hi

when we still had the 400SE last year, ours was geared 138/15 (M0.7) with a 1100kV motor. so that's quite similar in total to yours w/ 1600kV motor. normal flight modes using RT480 have been 1850/2100/2350rpms with additional low rpm setting of 1700. as it was very light (close below 2kg with 6s 3000) it performed great at lower rpms too (tail's the limit there)... 2100 being my favorite to throw it around
