Default main pinion getting lose

Hi. I have a streched protos 500 kit with 430 blades and 15T pinion. I get constants lost of power during flght. My telemetry does not show low voltage or lost o rpm. So i am almost sure it is due to the main pinion that is geting lose. Do you have any advice other than put lock threader to the screws that tighten the motor adapter.
Thanks in advance

You have to put blue loctite thread locker on those set screws. No way getting around that. Make sure that one of the screws is on the flat spot of the motor shaft. I've never had any problems with the motor adapter when done this way.

If the oneway bearing is shot or the motor shaft/ adaptor is wore out from the oneway it'll feel like your esc is cutting out every time it slips a little.

+1 although 15T with 6mm OWB is not as often to slip (unless with oil contamination) than 14T or lower with 2 4mm OWBs that hardly share the load evenly and cause slip and wear more often.
