Kontronik Kosmik Bluetooth Module question

I just installed the Bluetooth module, I got the Apple apps for it.

When i open the app i can notice that is connecting by bluetooth because the the bluetooth icon at the cellphone its on. Also the Kosmik has a ligth on when i did it. My problem is that the app can not read nothing, all the values are in zero. I am not sure what version i have in my firmware but my Cool Kosmik 200 is only 1 week old. (i assume has the last firmware version).

Did some one has experience working with the Kontronik Bluetooth module ?

you have to click the button on the esc while pairing it. this will allow the device to pair.

hmm. I have a spare iphone lying around I will give it a try. I have only ever used it from android.

Maybe someone else in here has used it on apple products before. I try and steer clear of Apple products at all costs.

I haven't tried either with Apple, but will.

Question tho...the original BT were not compatible with Apple...the new BT look identical...just the Kontronik Header Card says "Kompatibel mit: Apple / Android.

if your label on the package doesn't say that...the BT isn't compatible with Apple...

Never mind my unit is one before apple support was added. I am getting another one in a few days so hopefully I can work with it and give you an answer but if yours is before it was added you won't be able to connect as Greg mentioned

Not sure about apple but there was a pairing procedure for android in the manual what does it say for apple? You should go to your Bluetooth screen and pair with the device first.

Nelvick, when pairing the device you do have to do as Richard says which is to press the button marked press on the Kosmik while the phone is in pair mode. Te Kosmik needs to be at 4.1 I think, can't remember if its 4.0 or 4.1 but either way make sure its the latest firmware.

If this fails to work please email service@kontronik.com and mark for the attention of Marcial.

Just fixed the problem.

This unit come without any specific instructions for Apple. What we need to do for pair it is activate the bluetooth in the iphone, there is nothing to be detected in the settings panel in IOS. Just open the Kontronik Viewer application and once open press the bottom in the kosmik, them will show in the iphone screen asking for "pair", accept and done.

Works like a champ.

Im having the same issue with mine , switch everything on and then try and bind the bluetooth while pressing the button on the side of the Kosmik and it just goes straight into programming mode. My Samsung S5 comes up with can't pair because it requires a password or code. Ive tried it several time and nothing .
