Default Mini titan v1 broken tail pitch slider

Hi guys, i have two v1 mintitans which im trying to kep flying. I broke the tail pitch slider and i cant find any for sale. In uk.

Anyone know if another heli tail pitch slider would work. Ive looked at a few pics of other pitch sliders and they look similar but i guess the shaft diameter and other proportions would be critical to work.

Parts getting harder to find now on this heli. Shame as they fly soooo well

Hello!

I can not awnser your question if there is another pitch slider that works.

Have you tried the thundertiger europe website? they ship from germany, they have a few pitch sliders in stock there.

Also on thunder tigers main website they recently made a store for parts but dont know how long that will take for the parts to arrive.

Linkt to the websites:

http://www.thundertiger-europe.com/i...ch_slider.html (Dont know if this is the right one but there are a few more)

https://shop.thundertiger.com/collec...elicopter_e325 (Offical shop for parts to E325)

Hope this might help you!

Oh dear. My other mini titans pitch slider arm broke off, just like the one above. Must be the weakest plastic crud part ever. So thin and pathetic. The part needed to be metal and much beefier. Luckily i noticed it on the ground between packs. A dog had forced me to land fast, and something must have gone wrong in the landing. Twice lucky, in stopping the poodle getting a nose full of spinning blade , (the air turned rather blue for a second, as i tried to guard the heli from the dog, owner completely unconcerned, didnt call the dog back or anything), and it not breaking in flight. i suppose should be grateful to the dog for making it fail on the ground.

Maybe i should just pension these two off and get a heli without crappy, weak, plastic bits in vital places. This 3s mt does fly pretty nice though....

where is everybody. have all mini t owners migrated to oxys and goblins?

Once I couldn't get main frames anymore, I retired mine. I'm actually looking at it right now. It's on a shelf in my office and makes a great conversation piece.

The Oxy makes an awesome learning platform. It does get small fast and I end up flying it closer when I'm trying new stuff, but IMO not dangerously close. The Oxy is super cheap to crash and flies better than the MT did.

I also have a Protos 380 which is great, but I will probably cry the first time I put it in. Not a learning beater for me, but flies really well.

i want to get an oxy as it looks like its up to 'enthusiastic flying', without any mods at all, and should be a current model for a long time. bit pricey though...even the sport version . parts seem quite cheap which is a bonus, compared to that other lusted after mini heli, the goblin 380

the mini t is a good heli though, even though its a bit out dated now. i doubt the plastic frame of the v1 will ever be bettered for its inovative, labour saving features, and i like the way the v1 looks. so ive decided to keep mine going. i think i'll get metal pitch sliders (seems to be a part from the v2 mt) for them both, and maybe the v2 metal fbl head block, which will bring them up to date and lower their disk.

btw ive seen v1 plastic frames for sale on ebay uk recently. also the frame is listed on the thunder tiger website, and most other parts, incl the canopy

Nothing beat the ease of working on and the cost of those plastic frames.

I ended up replacing most the tail pitch slider and arm with metal because I couldn't get the slop out of the plastic ones. They worked great.

I ended up selling off all of my MT spares, so now it sits. All of the electronics are elsewhere now. It's the heli that I'll never sell. My first non-micro and I flew it for several years. Lot's of good memories.
