Talking Longest flight to date.

After installing the Spartan ds760 and align ds620 I took her for a test flight. *(right before this flight). At that time I did not realize that I had tagged my gravel driveway with my tail blades. *I had seen some damage to one on the mains, but I thought it had picked up some of the gravel on it's own. Did not realize at the time that the tail blades had thrown gravel into the mains. Which is why the vertical fin is vibbing like crazy. *Still, it shows how incredible the spartan gyro is.

Please remember that this is only my 10th "flight". So I am just excited that I flew for 4 mins and the bird is still in one piece.

That is definatly what I need to do. I will say that other than the hiccup at the beginning, my adrenaline is much lower than it has been since I started on this RC journey.

I used to have real flight, but sold that awhile ago when the belt cp discouraged me. I do use the msr for orientation training.

well done! Love to watch these videos. Your msr remark reminded me i actually got something useful out of the busted up used lama coax i got for 35 Euro. I remember in the few flights i got off it i learned nose in orientation. A few months later got my first CP heli. It took another half year before i did my first nose in landing. Still using the Lama remote for my Sim. If you want a free sim that works, download helisimRC. I do like phoenix a lot better now but it helped me fine for starting out.

Amen on just going outside. as good as the sims have become, they still don't hold a candle to the real McCoy.
