Default Align 3G system in a blade 300X????

I have a spare 300X minus the BeastX and was given an Align 3g gyro. I have been playing with it trying to get it setup, but no luck. I put a spektrum ar6100E rx in it. I can get motor to spool up, and servos to work on each channel, but can not get them to work in unison. ie: on idle up only the elevator servo will move up and down with pitch input, not all 3. Any ideas where I might find some info on transmitter setup for this combination?

It sounds like your swash is not set up correctly you need to select 3 servo swash 120 degrees and not one servo like a beastx

Download the 3G manual its for a 450 but the 3G setup will be similar you will just need to change it a bit for your model. What transmitter are you using?

Im using a DX7S. I did try the 3 servo 120 setting, and it did make a bit of a difference, but did not solve the issue. I will have another look at the link you provided. Thanks for that. What Im thinking is the radio settings Im using are wrong, and don't realy know where to start. Maybe the manual has the settings for a DX7S. I haven't looked at the link yet. Thanks for your help. I will keep you posted...

I'm probably wrong but it sounds like you dont have the correct swash type chosen on your TX. Also check our Bert Kamerer's Align 3G video on youtube...

Take the 3G out of the equation and plug everything directly into the RX and make sure you can get it working like it was a FB'ed heli when you get it working put the 3G back in.

all good tips. Thanks guys. I finaly got it working, and it actualy flys great in sport mode. Fast forward flight is unreal. Much quicker and more responsive the my T Rex 450,s. I do have an issue with it though. In normal mode, when I hit full collective and throttle it blows out the tail and it spins 180 deg to the left. It does it in Idle Up as well but not as bad. Im guessing gyro, but have played with it quite a bit with no luck...

You may have too much pitch when it's maxed out. Drop the max pitch by a degree and see what happens. I had a Rex 500 pro (flybarred), it did the same thing. Dropped the max neg/pos pitch from around 14.5 to 13 degrees and it fixed it.

In normal mode I recommend adjusting your throttle curve to be faster about the headspeed you will be flying with when it's ready to lift off the ground. Also with lower headspeeds you need to slightly increase your gain...
