Default New PL8 and MPA board

Hi all,
I'm awaiting delivery of my new PL8 and MPA board combo.
The board I bought is this: http://www.revolectrix.com/MPA_XH.htm

I'm going to need adapter cables to fit my 6s batteries (for my trex 700e dfc) to this board.
My batteries have EC5 connectors.

I'll order some Deans and EC5 connectors and I need some wires as well.
Question: What size wires should I get? 10awg or 12awg? This is for making the adapters I need to fit my batteries to this MPA board.

Or is it easy to solder and copy this?

Thanks

I use 12 AWG for 25 amps and below. Charging parallel, its not likely any single pack will be seeing the full 40 amps. So you could get away with 12 AWG. But I'd rather use 10.

My preference is to use extensions to make it easier to wire up the packs. If your pack's main leads are long enough, the short adapter will be fine.

Be sure to set your wiring mode to JST-XH and increase your supply current limit as appropriate for your supply. Do not change your low supply voltage unless your supply does not have under voltage detection. Use Preset #3 High Power for charging above 10 amps.

Have fun with that setup, you are going to love it.

Thanks for that - that really helps!
I might be back when I actually have the PL8 - was hoping it'll come by Friday but I guess it will be next week now.
