setting the fbl unit on my 700e

Ok im getting comfused setting this thing up. First off do i have to have the flight pack
installed and plugged to do the setup, cause im waiting on my 2 flight pack batteries to come in yet and i have the rx battery and tried to set it up and my swash when i tilt it to check that it moves in the right direction to compensate and it first moves in the direction i tilt it but then moves back in the right direction but not very far. also when you do the first step where you ajust the neutral point and mixing base position are you supposed to have the throttle stick all the way down and then set the pitch so its at 0 degrees? What setting in the dx8 do you ajust to set the max pitch setting cause mine is way to much pitch when i push the stick all the way up? I did down load the 700e fbl from spectrum into my dx8. Im used to a blade 400 and this 700 is alot different. Maybe i should have just got the fly bar model, but i always buy the latest and greatist toys so now i got alot to learn i guess.
