Brain/Ikon+DX8 self level with positive pitch on Protos

I was able to finally maiden the Protos with a new Brain/Ikon fbl unit. I am a newbi, but that fbl unit was easy to setup vs. the AR7200BX I have on my JR Forza.

I would like to share my set up on the DX8 and IKon sotfware how I achieved self level with positive pitch. I am not taking credit for the setup, but I thought I would share it for us newbies out there. It is a steep learning curved programing radios and fbl units -LOL I know I was looking all over the place for pics how to do it.

I assigned the self level to the bind/trainer knob on the radio - works good for me. With these numbers the heli leveled and rocketed up in the skye. Nice "ohhh shit" knob for us that are not that good to fly.

Flick the gear switch on and use the trainer/bind know to self level with positive pitch



In the Ikon software - be sure that ONLY one bank has self level activated. Push in the trainer/bind knob to see witch one gets green (activated) when trainer/bind is beeing used. Thats is the only bank that is suppose to have the self level active/turned on.



Be sure to have height when you try it out I hope this helps someone out!

I realized the same thing after posting yesterday - I was in " heli heaven" after I got it working :-) I have posted same thread in the MSH brain/Ikon forum.
