Nope, no good, never, shouldn't even think about it, NOT IN ANY ENGINE.
That's just asking for more damage or destruction. But who is to say. Up to you. Don

Ohh really?
Not questioning your judgement. But just asking, why? What would it do? Or not do?

Starting with: stress cracks developing from the jagged edge. No stability in the cyl due to missing section and developing piston slap at the rpms these run at. Piston slap breaking off more skirt. Piston slap causing fast and excessive wear on cyl wall. Piston disentegrating just because it can.
I really can't think of very many reasons not to use it. Don

It's up to you
You can if you want to . But I would sand the sharp
Edges. It is risky if I comes apart while flying You may be in trouble and can cause a crash What caused it to brake in the first place |

I have done this on another piston... The engine crank stop was inserted in the engine with piston at its way down rather than way up.. That's what broke this ...

The counter weight on the crankshaft is expecting a certain weight piston.
So while all of the piston slap, potential cracking, and other nice things mentioned above, you will also have a lot more vibration from an engine that is out of balance. Mount it on the wall as a souvenir to an expensive learning experience.

Its gonna be bad when your motor blows up think about the cylinder sleeve, the crank, the connecting rod, the bearings, the ring, and think what could possible happen in a crash. Patients is what the hobby is all about. For me anyway.
