At the moment I'm using an Aiptek A-HD video camera that happens to have a Video Input. The problem is, if the video flakes out for even a moment, the camera stops using the input....

I need a better solution, but not certain I want to spend $200 or more on a ground station recorder...

I had a look at the ebay seller you mentioned in the video and there's just a jungle of filters available, which ones do you recommend?

I've been trying to find a decent cheap video transmitter and reciever, what are you using?

The key word to search for is 9.8mm

I got my 900mhz Vtx Vrx from Hobbywireless.com

On sale for $109. The antennas are garbage, and at a minimum you'll have to build or buy a patch ant for the Vrx

And here is a trip I did over by the beach for a family gathering, I flew via direct observation, while the family passed the glasses and ground recorder around "oh-ing and Ah-ing" :-)
