Your local hobby shop may stock some tiny brass machine screws that Sig manufacturing sells. I found some 1/72 by 1/8" filister head screws that work great for this fix. Bonus, they look great with the gold anodized end caps! Thanks for the heads up on this problem, Finless. Later, John.

Do you need to fix the 4050 kV gold end motors as well? I know the 3550 kV needs fixing from experience

I'm hoping I don't have to do this, I have a heat sink to keep it cool and a CNC main gear to reduce lateral stress on the end cap and bearings. several hours on it now, no signs of coming apart. Hope it never does!!! Anyone care to comment, or is this a must do for all 430l gold capped motors?

I would do it myself if you have a gold capped motor!

The 430l is a 6 pole motor here is the link with Align's specs. More poles equals more power and higher efficiency.

i just got my cde kit with a 430 motor with silver ends, but i don't see anything resembling pins, or screws. if it is pinned where are the pins?
another thing. where is the advanced post button so i could add a pic of the motor showing no pins/screws?
