Power lab 6 and 350w power supply. Just not going to charge more than 2c for my pricey 6 cell batteries.

Yes but, with a bigger PS you could charge 6x6S at once at 2C(depending on capacity). Just a thought for the future.

Nice As Tachead alluded to, you could also charge multiple 6S packs in parallel at once at 1C, and have then ready sooner than multiple 2C sessions, while also going easier on the packs.

I already have a hitec x4 ac plus so I don't really to parallel charge with the powerlab. It was more of a cost thing. Happy with my set up.

Just ordered a parallel balance board a couple of days ago. But before I use it, how will I? For example, I will use it for 3 6s batteries, 3300mah each. I plug the Batts into the board, but for "a" would I select 9900 to charge at 1 C, then 18000 for 2 c? Just want to get basic questions to be certain. And I will select "Yes" when powerlab asks about parallel charge. Right?

Also, at the last fun fly someone told me that when you are at 99% that last 1% takes a long time. Doing a fast charge now and I have noticed the last percent takes forever. How can you change the charger to just stop at 99%? I would only choose that option once in awhile, then slow balance charge each evening as I always do.

At the packs in parallel prompt select 3 packs. At the charge rate enter the desired charge rate for a single pack (3.3 amps 1c, 6.6 amps for 2c etc). The Powerlab will do the math for you. The mah and IR displayed while charging will be averages based on the number of packs in parallel selected by the user.

You can change the termination current setting. Note that the termination current is a function of the charge rate. 10% is the default for the high power and fast presets. 20% is used for the accurate preset. Raising the charge rate also raises the termination current. This means that increasing your charge rate not only fills the packs faster it will terminate the charge at slightly less than 99%. I'd try the high power preset at 3c and see of that gets you the results you are looking for. If not, you can modify the preset, raising the termination current above 10%.

More on this subject from this morning.
