Default Aurora 9x plus maxima 9 problem?

Trying to sort things out here. The other day I crashed my 700e pro dfc severly and I think it was either the tx or rx.
My setup: maxima 9, 3gx v4.0, swash ds615, tail futaba bls 251. Using the 6v align bec.

First flight went ok, though I think there was a bit of delay in collective.
Second flight after 2 minutes, during a normal flip, crashed nose first...

Back at my garage I tested the servos, they were really sticky. Slow movements ok, but when going fast on the stick the servo sometimes didnt even move!!!

I rebound the maxima 9 and then it was fast on the servos again.

But before I go and fly again, does anyone know of this issue?? Does the 4096 resolution has anything to do with it? Maybe in combination with 3gx??

Thank you!

Regards, Mark.

What servos, any non digital? Read Maxima in lieu of Optima in links below.
. Optima Transceiver (RX) - Servo Move Slower Than Usual - then Rebind.
...(Switched between Normal <> Scan mode with power off before process completed).
Am also concerned the BEC is failing under load.
. Optima Transceiver (RX) - Servos Stepping - Battery pack (power supply) failing under load.

I never tested the maxima with the 3gx cause quiet frankly I don't trust it. Never had any issues with the speed of the Rx on vbar, brain, demon, or beastx

Please excuse my interpretation, but remain unsure as to whether your post means you don't trust
the Maxima Rx or the 3gx What is so bad about 3gx? and why?
Will appreciate clarification, thanks

I don't trust the 3gx sorry for the confusion. Just seen to many issues with guys flying them. There is a reason why Jamie Robertson and ben storik both fly vbars are the align machines

Default Aurora 9x plus maxima 9 problem?

I don't have any issues with the 3gx. It always has worked just fine for me.
The 9x had a problem.. Even one of my thr curves went over 100% by it self!! How is that possible. Anyways I got a new one now.

But the other thing happened today that made my 700 pro dfc crash severly. By my mistake I forgot to turn of the 700. Then I selected a different model in the aurora 9x. At that time the 700 spun up fast, tipped over and slammed the tarmac pretty bad, non stop. Rotor head kept spinning until I dare to approach it and turned it of. This was an extreme dangerous situation!
What I don't understand is that how is this possible? The 700 has a maxima 9 and the other model an optima 7. I didn't even turn the optima on yet and the 700 went like crazy. This should 'r be possible.

This has been a really expensive tx so far! First crash cost me about 400 usd, and this one, few weeks later, about 350 usd!!!

I live in the Netherlands and I bought the tx/rx in the UK. Shouldn'tHitec compensate me in any way? Especially for that first crash and also I believe that what happened today shouldn't be possible!!,

The servo's that I use are ds615 on the swash and a bls 251 on the tail.

Well. It was just messud up. Scrolling thru the different flight modes my normal pitch settings showed weird numbers, not what I selected. And als the word 'normal' was erased and a vertical line was shown. I had two mayor crashed with my 700 for what I am now confinced of was caused by the 9x.
The other 9x I had showed stuff like this in the main menu screem sometimes: @@@@@@##@#_@###&&& or someting like that.

One error yes, two to one user is highly unlikely given percentage of units in use.
Suggest error is in the programming, please read the information regarding EPA and
"Unexplained problems with Computerised Transmitters ?" under

. EPA, ATV, Dual & Triple Rates, Expo Differences & Caution includes ESC / BEC Set Up.

Thanks Alen. But after a mainboard failure of my aurora 9 I got the 9x and it crashed my 700, costing me about 500$ in repairs. Returned that 9x and got a new one from the lhs and that one alse costed me around 500$ in repairs. So I've also send that one back. I'll attach some pics to show what the last one did.. Unfortunately I lost thrust in Hitec. Can't afford another crash, too dangerous. Luckily nobody got hurt!

I've seen the junk on my main screen from time to time. It doesn't appear to be affecting the response of my radio I just chalked it up to a display glitch. Seems to happen when I'm jumping around a lot in model memory with out powering down the radio. My 9 did odd things with the screen from time to time but I never noticed it affected flight.
Does anyone know if this is not normal behavior? I would hate to lose a heli to a radio glitch.

I ended up in returning the Hitec and got a futaba 14sg. No single problem here anymore!
