Default Futaba R6303SB on a 8,4V Setup

Hi Guys

Probably there already is a thread like this out there but my problem is rather hard to search for. Anyway I tried to find a thread but couldn't, so I open a new one.

To my Problem: Right now I am running my G700 of Savox SC-1258TG. Yes dont kill me now, I know its freaking low torque for a 700 Class machine. That is actually the reason why I plan on upgrading my servos, as I firstly dont want to lose my heli due to parsimony and secondly do not want to put anyone in danger while I am flying the beast.
So what I ended up doing or actually thinking of doing is buying BK Servos for cyclic as soon as they get on the Market over here. For the tail I already got a bargain on a BL9188. The funny thing is, this servos are clear to use up to 8,4V. But my receiver (R6303SB) only handles 7,4V and for the MSH Brain I can't even find this information.

1. Does a Brain handle up to 8,4V?

2. How can I lower the Voltage only for my Rx? Can I put a regulator on the S-Bus cable between the Brain and the Rx or would there be the danger of the regulator messing with the S-Bus signals?

Your help is very much appreciated! Thanks in advance!

Cheers
Dave

The R6303SB will run just fine on 8.4 V. I wouldn't sweat it.

Rated for nominal voltage of 2s which is 3.7 x 2 = 7.4 and full packs are 4.2 x 2 = 8.4
Its all good
