Default MX450 First spinup, more faulty parts found

I finally got the beastie in the air about a foot, whilst checking it out and trimming etc, when all of a sudden the tail started drifting...a LOT.I could correct it with full rudder input, but the tail seemed to lack authority. I brought it down for a look-see and found that the pin holding one of the blade grip ball links onto the pitch slider had departed the aircraft. Yes, it had previously been there and did not appear loose.

UGH. Wrote to Hobbico tech support to see if they'll send me a new pitch slider (part's not listed separately).

UPDATE: Heard back from Hobbico tech support today. They're sending me out a new pitch slider. Hopefully this one will hold up.

Asked them for a new tail rotor (grips and hub) assembly to fix the issue in my other thread too. Hopefully I'll be back in the air before too long!

It's kind of a pain having to get replacement parts for a brand new heli, but at least they're standing behind it.
