This is with the Aerofly USB connector but you could do the same with the Phoenix one
I just ordered a couple of the USB connectors from Bang Good in china, hope they get here some time this year. Any way does any one have a good photo or wiring diagram to show where to solder in the servo lead.

Thanks

Has anyone had any luck getting the sim stick pro to work with Aero 7? I have a R7plus plugged in using all the cables to the simstick pro but i can't get the program to recognize the rx. The r7 is bound to my ds-16 and i can see the voltage.

any help would be great!!!!

And here is mine. Using an R5i and really cheap HK dongle modified as per photo and then put into an e-cig battery case. Works like a charm.

Anyone know if there is any reason to remove the dongle at any time or is it safe just to leave it plugged in?

Great work from you all! Just curious - is there some magic inside the Phoenix box? I tried wiring a USB to a Jplug but my Phoenix doesn't recognize it. Obviously that's why you need a dongle, but what's in there that prevents direct wiring from working?

Also, I Googled Super Sim X, and the one I found was from HeliBuy.com and they say it's good through Windows 8. I need something to work with Windows 10. What to do?

Not sure if it is the same but when I use aerofly I have to plug first the radio controller, that came with it, to my computer when I start the program, then unplug it and use my USB adapter to have my Jeti Tx working wirelessly.

It is something to prevent making copy of the flight sim that could be use by anyone. That way if you did make copies, you would have to also share the flight controller.

Very cool! I figured it out. I clipped the wires on my Phoenix and ran the red wire from the USB through the box and wired that plus the two input wires to a servo plug. Now I can run my sim without ten feet of wire and a battery. Just have to shrink wrap the wires and pretty it up. 😄👍

Default help with connecting dc 24 Jeti with Aerofly flight sim

No dice for me....

I have tried multiple times and with different way, and I cannot get the Simulator to work.

this is what I have done:

1. Gone into my DC 24 and created a new model. it is called Simulator. Set up as an airplane.
2. Obtained a brand new, unused R14 receiver, then I did latest firmware update, then I bound it to my DC 24 Sim model.
3. Went into Device Explorer, set the connection to PPM + (and also tried as PPM-)
4. In device explorer, I set period to 20 instead of 17 (tried both + auto)
5. I open the aerofly program, and if USB is not connected, when I click on scan for USB, it shows ZERO channels.
6. When I connect the USB with the Rx connected to the USB as shown, then when I scan for USB, it will open "calibrate" and it recognizes 16 channels. However, when I move the sticks, nothing. No movement.
7. If I try to fly, there is nothing. No control. Every once in a while, I will see the airplane take off on its own, but no control of it.

Anyone have any advice. (please).

thank you

Looking at this receiver on the Esprit site, the PPM is on SAT2 not Ext.

Well spotted, yup, that's the port the manual says to use for ppm out on this RX, SAT2.

I am using the RX2SIM with a Jeti R4 receiver for a wireless connection. The RX2SIM provides 5V to the receiver, so no need for an external battery like a LiFe or a 2S LiPo. It works with virtually all simulators and transmitters.

Latest AccuRC works with a direct USB connection to the Jeti if you're on the latest radio firmware.

The Jeti has the ability to act like a USB game controller now, and you get full use of all the controls and switches.

Jeti R9 with AccuRC dungle, plug into SAT port and set to PPM positive

REX3 with AccuRC dungle, plug into E1 or E2 and set to PPM positive

in AccuRC2 you need to setup a custom transmitter with buddy box.
