What forum are all the 700 owners on? This section seems slow
This seems like a really slow section, I can usually find the same post from the evening before, the next day, still on the 1st page. Helifreak is a pretty busy site, lots of traffic in the many other sections, it got me thinking, are most the posts being done on another site? If so, which one? I've made a couple posts in this section and replies are far and few between (thank you to anyone that has responded, I am grateful for the help). Maybe there are just less 700 owners out there than 500's.
Is there a more active 700e forum section in another site? thanks, phranticness |

They are all on the Goblin fourm... LOL just kidding who knows. I have been busy on the LOGO and Goblin HF sections I check back but not as often. 700E is old news I guess with the new crop of large E helis.

I think most people that had 700e's like me have sold them and are now flying other more advanced models(direct servo to swash etc etc). But i for one will be back flying the align flag when the trex700e v3 is released! Im sure the forum will become more lively then.

I guess the two main reasons the 500 forum is more active than the 700 forum are
1) The 500 is cheaper, and more people own that 2) People with 500's are often beginners, who have more basic questions than 700 owners |

I agree with both observations- I see a lot of "beginner" questions on this section as well though (Just to clear the air, I consider myself a beginner, I mean no disrespect) Still - it moves really really slow. There must be more action in another forum huh? I can't belive that there aren't any 700e questions being tossed around. Quote:

I agree there is not as much traffic on this forum… but I find the majority of posts here to be more useful to myself.

We're still around, although many of us have bought Goblins, TDRs, 7HVs, E720s, etc.
It's like a buffet of large helis these days. Have to sample them all. |

There are so many new 700E’s now in market it’s flooded with them unlike two years ago when the 700E was the only one on the block.
I like my V2 that was originally a V-1 kit, two years old now and it still rocks far from bone stock but that’s the beauty of the 700E kit it’s a good platform stock or upgraded. I am building a Goblin and a LOGO 500SE right now at the same time. That’s why I have not been on the 700E section all that much. I sold my TDR that I had for 6 months and decided to keep the 700E that how much I like it. The DFC head has transformed this bird and I love the way it fly’s even more now.

I was curious on that also, I just bought one of the newer 700 f3c v2. I was certain this forum was gonna be just hopping but then again lol maybe not. I think it will pick up again once the new 700v3 is out. It would be nice to at least see pictures of it

I just ordered a couple of Goblins as I'm finishing up my new 700E v2 and rebuilding my v1 after I all but totalled it last weekend! I'll always love my Trex's, but I always like buying the new/interesting designs that come out.

I think a lot of the initial bugs have been sorted which reduces traffic. They are so simple to build, and most people who build a 700 have prolly already built a few 450,500 and 600s, The trexes are pretyy much larger versions of each other, heck even some parts are interchangeable fro 1 model to the next.
and a lot of esc, fbl unit discussion happen in their dedicated forums also.

I think you may have found the answer (in addition to others explanations) Since there are no major complaints and the build is pretty much the same as every other trex, the posts are limited in terms of repair and diagnosis questions. The other responses about other new makes and models is of course why their aren't loads of "check out my build" posts and pics. I guess I was just surprised that there wasn't more action in this section. |

Maybe just maybe, the people found the search button
really reason i had left the 700e forums 1 eng major so time is short ( 800e is still in pieces after its last flight a few weeks ago) 2 all the questions that were popping up I had all ready answered months before, some even with the exact same title.
