Many people are finding out that some of the futaba bls are so over built they can run on near double the voltage. Not the BLS-251 though. They are good servos. Your gonna love that gy701. Its amazing

Jes Guys, see Robbe -Futaba have uptadet officaly that the BLS Serie can runn on 2S Lipo without a problem.
(Excluding the BLS 252-254 Tailservos,) Also same for the HS and S-Bus Reciver serie.

U have to scroll down the PDF to the end, there u will find the infos (sorry its in German)

Hey Hugo

You copied my setup

- BLS 451 Cyclic
- Torq 9080 Tail (until i can get a "real" Torq Tail servo - however 0.05 should be OK)
- one of the new Hyperion HV Servo on trottle
- GY 701
- Futaba S-Bus RX
- Perfect Regulator Fail On Switch - direct 2S

- YS-3DS with Hatori YS V2 pipe

And I do have the same Canomod Cannopy too

Build is almost done. This is by far the best heli i ever built.

All I need is some time to fly that thing

Here are some pictures of the setup ..

Few things to note:
- The Perfect Regulator fail on switch has two "Servo" leads soldered on for redundant power in.
- I also have a PushGlow next to the started shaft - I love that gadget
- The wiring id extremely simple and clean - most of the servo cable over-lenght go safely under the pitch servo. Folded them there and added some shrink tubes to keep them in place.
- I had to mod the Gov sensor mount. Drilled two holes to mount the sensor on the inside of the frames. No big deal and very clean as well

I really love the way this heli is designed. There are so many nice features.
Just one example: The servo mounts - the servo can travel a bit together with the mount tabs as long as there are not screwed on fully; this allows to set-up the push pull links without any stress on the servo bearings. Well Done!

I'm not sure how to read this. The torqure ratings do not match specs from servodatabase.com. Is this independent testing values? Are the units in oz/in ?

Is there a muffler included in the kit, like the Velo 50?
