Award winning Kansas City barbecue. Plenty of room to fly. Great fun for pilots of all skill levels. There will be a couple of Pro level pilots for noon demos.

Anyone in the Midwest this is one of the best fun fly's. It's really open sky. The food is great. Lots of flight time. They own (have a permit from the parks) the entire park for that day! So If it does get crowded you can go to the other side of the park and fly as well. The other side is the Heli field, but because of the sun the event is held on the plane side.

I have been the last two years and they were a blast!!

Yes I have some pics. I don't have any pics of ours. I got a virus from hell after 15 years of surfing and being careful they got me with a Walmart email! I just happened to have my mem card to my camera plugged in at the time and the virus hit it as well. I payed microcenter over $30 to see what they could save on the chip and yours came through lol!

I forgot about Photobucket until Helifreak reminded me because they won't let you load more than two pics at a time lol! It looks like I moved a few pics their. I also found a pick of the helicopter side. Like I said if things get too crowded and you don't mind flying in the sun you can go over their.

I have it on my schedule its the week after I get back form the Mid-America Fun Fly.

dyin2fly send me your Fun Fly info and I'll see if I can make it, I'm looking for some more to attend this summer.

That is the great part of this field it runs East and West, the Airplane side has no sun issues after noon and like I said for the funfly we use the airplane side lol!

But I know what you mean. Your field is south into the sun. You also have to deal with those pesky home owners that have built out there. We just had a blast trying to cut the tall grass at the end lol!

It's just helis, but I am sure and multis can fly on the helicopter side or planks if they don't need a runway.

The field is where the club normally flies, but the fun fly field is huge.
