Default Rapicon fuel

Just wondering if anyone here has tried rapicon 30% nitro fuel in an os55 heli engine.My local hobby shop has started stocking this and has plenty of it.Just wanted to know if it's worth trying .Thanks

Yes it is worth trying.

I have found it has a good oil package that protects the engine very well. By that I mean I am getting excellent life from the back bearing.

It is great fuel. I used to many of different brands and this one was between of the best one.
Unfortunately, local hobby shops here are getting it out of stock...

Is it ok to go with the LS (low smoke) version of this Rapicon fuel? It is a bit cheaper.
Low smoke is 18% oil, it is minimum recommended by the manufacturer.

It should be okay. You might even get more mpg with slightly less oil.

Just keep an eye on engine temperature / tuning. Listen out for leaning slightly in flight and if so a click or two richer to help with cooling.
