Default Paper a glue is your friend

I made a few adjustments to the MD-500 Canopy and made it more of a paper fuselage.

Of the three colors the green was the easiest to for my eye to track. The blue seemed to be the more difficult, especially against a blue sky.

Default mCPx Paper Canopy -- First Aftermarket mCPx Hop-Up?

A while back I made this paper canopy for my MCPX

I've so pleased with its crash ability, even nose diving into concrete, I decided to create an align style one for my brushless conversion.

Ian posted his awesome Logo Xxtreme paper canopy somewhere before. I thought it was one of the mCPX thread. But perhaps I was dreaming.

Here's his Nano CPX version. I remember him just sizing up to get the mCPX sized one.
https://www.helifreak.com/showpost.p...&postcount=419

And his posted on how he goes about cutting and gluing one together:

https://www.helifreak.com/showthread...26#post4963926

I have my own paper canopy making tips with links to video primer here:
http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1696633

And my paper canopy topics on my blog site:
http://www.hacksmods.com/?s=paper+canopy&submit=

edit to add:
I see Ian replied back with the templates. Yay. I had wrote that post in the morning...but didn't hit the send button until know. Kids interrupted and didn't get a chance to sit down at the computer till now.

You can do it. Not easy, requires patience both to cut and to glue together but worth the effort. Gluing does not have to be perfect, you'll crash it anyway.
