Default Anyone running a belted tail on their X5?

I'm curious about the belt tail on the X5. If anyone is using it I would like to know how it preforms and how is holding up. What kind of power system do you have, what head speed are you running and how hard do you fly it? Does it hold up any better than the torque tube front gears?

Thanks

Default

I have the belted tail, just missing a belt.

But I've heard it's not too great. From what I've heard it skips teeth alot and just isn't the best. Which is why I haven't bothered to get a new belt for it.

Default X5 Belt drive

The belt drive system is great! Only skips if you get the tail in the dirt or its loose. The boom is longer so 550 mm mains can be flown without modifications. No stripped gears in a crash, and less maintenance.
