With that extra length of wire you may consider adding capacitors to your controller, only so you don't burn it up in the future. Castle says that the capitors that are on there controllers are really there to only handle up to 12" of wire between the batteries and the controller. Looks like you have a little more than that.

I see you are running a Jive 120HV from your previous posts but I would think it would apply to all controllers across the market.

What do you guys say about the XT60? I have them on my trex500 and they feel like good connectors, better then the deans for sure..
