Default 180qx vs rc eye one extreme?

Any 180qx owners have the rc eye one extreme? The rc eye is $50 cheaper but appears to not include the camera or one link that allows use with futaba and spectrum tx's, has BL motors, and can fly a go pro.

It won't fly in the wind, check the specs. The 180 QX does awesome in the wind.

It suggests light to no wind. It doesn't say it won't fly in more. I have a feeling that while the 180x handles flying in the wind great, video will not be as good in the wind as it is when flying in calm conditions.

My bl nano qx handled the wind great but it was far from ideal.

Video of rc eye flying in "Strong Wind".
RC EYE One Xtreme testing at HKMEC (Expert Mode in strong wind) (7 min 34 sec)

I'm looking for head to head comparison from someone who has tried both. I've heard and believe the 180qx is great but it has brushed motors and gears so if the rc eye handles as well, getting bl motors direct connected to the prop with more lifting capacity for similar price is a no brainer for me.

I don't know that I would trust anything that small to fly a gopro anyway, even if it could. They have video from the rc eye carrying a gopro but similar to the wind, I think it would be far from ideal.

Default Is this seriously a question?

The Xtreme is 10x and then sum better than the blade 180.

Brushless vs brushed?

$130. Vs. 180?

Add. Vs Crappy camera.
Your Payload of what? 25-30 grams max!

Great quadcopter. Vs waste of money.

The blade will get blown away in winds the Xtreme can handle.

No doubt.

If you like the blade so much by a v222 and a blade canopy and stick it on it and save 130.00 dollars on a purchase at least.

I've got an nqx and if the 180 flies similar to that, it would be worth it to me for the bnf. I think I really like the rc eye but there are extra costs there to add even a crappy camera and to make it work with my dx7s. At this size, crappy camera isn't a deal breaker as long as it works. This isn't an AP rig. BTW, the wind doesn't blow my nqx away so I would bet the 180 will handle wind ok,.

The 180QX camera is OK if you just want to have fun with it. It is not OK if you want to take serious photos or video.

When I want to do some good aerial photography, I take off the stock camera and install my 808#16 Keycam. Takes great video.

I'm not trying to bicker. Just checking to see if someone has them both to do a comparison. They are similar size and meant for similar activities so I think a comparison for someone wanting to buy something in this size to play around with recording flight is a valid topic.

By the way, my jeep is better than ford and chevy. OIIIIIIIO

I have $179.00 Canadian into mine. The video is ok, and it is such a blast to fly!!! The best bang for the buck! This is definitely a gateway quad, so fun to fly, and a great training tool for learning to fly my heli more aggressively.

The idea of being able to strap a GoPro to a quad that only costs $130 is very intriguing. I have a 180 QX and the video quality of the stock camera is terrible. I know about the keychain cam, but I'd really love to fly a GoPro. If the Eye One Extreme really can do that, I may have to get one. That sounds really cool.
