I might be interested. Are they better than the Futaba 3114? I have all SG90's and all of you suggested to use MG90s which werent available at the time. I'm looking for a nice tail servo which can take a beating but still not be that expensive.

I wouldn't say they are better than Futaba, but they are better than the sg 90s for sure. I totaled my heli and didn't strip a single tooth. Can't go wrong either for $11.00 each.

I'd say they are better than the S3114's they have better specs. except speed is the same and have metal gears but I would still put the s3114 since it's lighter on the tail and use MG90's for cyclic.

Matt the specs you have are wrong for speed I think. I'm pretty sure .10@4.8 and .09@6v that's what I have written down from when I bought them.

Thanks creteus, sounds like a good idea to use the MG90s for the cyclics. Would you say they're longer than the SG90? I could barely fit the SG90's in my EXI and I had to squeeze somewhat to make them fit from inside the frame.

Yeah they are a bit longer. I took one of the left upper frame piece off of mine to get them in. Also it makes it alot easier to run the wires out of sight on the inside of the frame. Pictures are crap sorry

I'll have to look. I've been on a few sites now. I remember seeing TowerPRO MG90's for $29.95 US. I was like !!!!!!! SCREW THAT! =P

I ran across it a few weeks ago when buying my replacement servo for my Belt after my um.. "experience"..

Thanks Creteus, I guess I'll have to pass for now since I'd have to remove the frame somewhat to put them in as you said. I'll continue with using the sg90s for now. Nice servo though.

They are perfect, both the SG90s and the MG90s. I used them both in a CopterX AEV2, and still use the MG90s now.
MG90s are much more resistant to a crash.

Yes they are different sizes and I've heard the S isn't a very good servo.
