Default velocity 90 swash help

hoping someone can help with this- i have a flybar and flybarless velocity 90 and both have the same problem with elev interaction.

see these videos for explanation-

[ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TlqAPin81F0[/ame]

[ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u1TBCNa7ycc[/ame]

to answer some questions that maybe asked-

made sure the ccpm is 120 and 90 respectively on each model in the radio.
tried fresh models on the radio and it does the same.
treble checked the balls are all on the same holes.

can someone else with a velocity 90 see if their swash moves up/down a little by only moving elev fore and aft?

cheers

Have you flown the machine yet ? I wonder if its just the linkages being so tight your servos are struggling to center.

no buddy-not flown them yet. i have sized all links to near perfect. i've left them slightly on the tight side.

just to clarify-the servos are centring-the problem is interaction

cheers

mine is the same, I think there is possibly something not quite right in the geometry from servos to swash. I've not worried about it too much as I'll be fitting a CSM cyclock and will dial it out...... but there's still something not quite right there.

Just been measuring and at the blade it's less than 0.5 degrees but it's still an interaction and it's right through the pitch range from full positive to full negative. In flight I suspect it will be hardly noticeable but it's doing it never-the-less.

Does the interaction show up on the blade pitch ? If so how much ?

it's very little on the blades, probably less than 0.5 degrees....but it shouldn't be this pronounced imo. be interested on charleys take on this one.

atleast i know now i'm not alone with this.

cheers

don't worry too much about it-won't feel it in the air.

i suspect that the answer will be in different balls on the swash outer but not 100% as not measured it yet. i'm not concerned enough about it to be bothered doing that. i only mentioned it really as was worried my 14mz was acting up!

cheers

agree, I've not noticed it inflight, it's just that it's there so being a perfectionist I wanted to get rid of it.

It is being looked into as we speak, but if you fellas aren't finding any fault in flight just ignore it for now and when the solution comes about we can deal with it then.
