Are these words coming from a man arguing that he does not understand why some people can put 200 USD in a RC Toy canopy ? Well some people drive Ferrari or Audi -> i do understand them: they can afford it and they like it.

You talk about cheaper canopies, but they are amde from which shape ? Aaaah, cloned from others people canopies ? YOu don't blame them, you even say it's cool stuff. (Me too by the way). But it's a bit totally opposite of your thought what you are telling here ? So cloning / using existing proven designs is positive for some peopole but negative for some others depending on your mood ?

NObody forces you to buy the Beam. Nobody forces you to like some expensive stuffs. Nobody also forces you to be so negative in most of your comments. This is the way you are and i would agree on your comments in some ways as the BEam uses some proven designs that simply work, but i totally disagree when you call it " clone". And even more because except if you had one in your hand and that you test flown it and encountered motor temps problems and bring some solid statements, all you are saying right now is "préjugé" BS...

I'm the complete opposite of you as i work for Gryphon ( expensive regulators and fuel pumps) and also for Hatz ( expensive toys) . So i can't reply anything else, we are not on same way of thinking. I can't criticize colors and tastes as it's a choice of everybody and can't be discussed, i respect fully other people statements when they are clear and founded, but in your case, what can i say else ? The day you will build and fly one then you will tell me about and 'ill take your remarks seriously and wil take the time to explain you the " why" for each choice which is not cloning but for technical reasons and market reasons also..

5S for 600mm blades and 3D (not 2.5D) ? video please...
Most I've seen him do with it it loops and rolls its not really his style to fly hard core with anything - especially with that sort of money on the line. I did notice that with 5s the tail isn't as locked in as it could be. I suspect its lacking enough power to really hang in there in really fast turns. I didn't even think he could get it in the air on a 5s but it flew very nicely. It helps we have a club full of experts who go to the shop every second day....

Makina, I notice you are new to HeliFreak. I'd like to direct your attention the words on the bottom of the logo. It's what makes this place great and the mods do an excellent job at keeping it that way. Your history shows a lack of the last word.

Makina,

I would say this looks to be a really good 600 size. If the quality is anything like the 450, then it should be a good performer and require little maintenance.

Default Beam Avantgarde Video and Release Info

I was at the Orlando Heli Blowout 2011 this past weekend and surprisingly enough there were Beam reps there from Korea. They had a few Avantgardes on display (and one in the raffle) but none for sale

Hi,

we did get the booth just 2 weeks ago and had to carry the beams, displays and everything, also we are manufacturers and if anything is available for sale, it would be from our retailers
You can, if you wish, ask Experience Rc, Helidirect or A Main Hobbies, they will have the kits very soon.

The reason also why we did not have any kits at the retailers side during the week end is simply because we have changed the frame layout a bit, we added some threaded inserts on the right frame to screw the CC ice 2 HV 80 and 120A directly on the frames and these are finished only since last friday, was a bit tight to arrange everything so fast

On the booth, you met Leeks Lee, CEO of Beam & Nexus, and myself, i take care of Gryphon / Beam & Nexus distribution strategies and vendor / customer support.

Do not hesitate to PM me if you nee any information

Best regards and thanks again to all the people who came by our booth for their warm welcome and kind words about our products, this was very appreciated We will attend Las Vegas funfly, Toledo and Ircha in 2012

Best regards,

Fabien

Default Hi Enquiries on Beam E6

Hi Helifreaks, just inquiring if anyone owns the kit, is the weight(no blades, electronics and power system) of the Beam Avantgarde posted on the websites at 1150 grams stated correct and accurate? From the pic and reviews its a very good quality heli had nice flights with the old beam E4, thinking to get the E6. Thanks!
