I didn't see how it would work on the warp. Well as a pitch gauge, yes. But using it to set "spirit level" as they call it with the nontraditional rotor head looks impossible so a bubble level would need to be used as well. I still want one for setting up future helis though.

I set the throttle curve 25 -30 percent and get 3500 rpm on the head
I use 6 cells : Мир
should put 4 cells and will be okay
I do not have 4 cells and now supply 6

SDPI 3.17mm 12t pinion. And yeah, if you are running the 2200 can series this is the motor you want.

I had actually laid out a new 2200 can and was getting ready to custom wind it down to roughly 1530kv . Now, I think I will let that project rest.

Guess what just got delivered!

Its pretty... looks like a tiny 4025- I'll post up some pictured in a few.

To answer your question, yes, absolutely. I will be stuffing this heli with ceramics and high grade stainless bearings. I have my own method of allocating different bearing types to different areas of the heli as I believe that ceramics are not ideal in every application. I'm going to wait until I see wear though, and document this... figure some people would like to know how the stock bearings hold up.

Not sure when it will be available to the public. I'm just one of the guys testing the prototype... not really a rep or in any other way affiliated with Scorpion. I suppose I'll find out once we test these and give them (Scorp) feedback.

LOL!!

At least it smooths out at speed. I did a vibe analysis through my Vortex last night and my heli was super smooth. I put some stiffer mounting tape on my FBL sensor so as to help with tail tuning, etc., and I'll do another vibe analysis tonight.

The sound right after spool up is still there though, hasn't gotten any better or any worse.

flat out guarantee these low freq noises are related to magnetic resonance. It is a combination of stators, mag spacing, and how they were wound. Even though they got this part wrong, the motor will still run well at speed.

Got a chance to weigh the motor. 106.8g (including bullets and all), not bad. 25.8 grams over the 2221-1630
