Default 5.5 &12s ?

Hi guys I've had a few flights on my 5.5 now and 6s is really quite hard on my packs. How would a quantum 4125 -560 kV be like on a he 70a HV esc, I've had this combo on a fusion and worked well.
Also pack sizes what are you running ?

I'm running a 12s 5.5 that had that same motor and burned up in 10flights. Now using a savox 5055-550kv now and is a power house. Btw my esc is a jive 80hv. The motor you have should be fine so long as it doesn't short. I'm running 2600s , tried 3300s and I think are too heavy for 550 blades.2600s seem to be a good balance at 2500hs

I am running a hand wound Pyro 650(535Kv) and was able to over amp my Jive 80Hv so I swapped in a J120Hv.

Also running 2600's and 3300's. The 3300's feel a little heavy but I just bump the head speed some and let the motor pull through it.Still starts/stops really quick.
Also running 25 and 2600 head speed.

Demon / Bubba, either of you guy's try 570mm with 3300's yet?
Measured and 570 will go with stock boom and 95's, 600 will not.
Might give this a go unless 600 kit is due soon.

I haven't tried bigger blades then 550s. How did you shut down your 80hv I'm running mine with a heatsink in Tucson 100 degree weather and esc isn't even warm

Guessing the little handy wind P650 spikes pretty high.
Once doing tic-tocs and again on a hard stop out of a tail slide.

Um that's interesting since I can't shut mine down at 2700 and I'm sure I'm hard on then most with my fast flying and sudden stops. Idk. Guess the pyro 650 is a monster

Oh I am sure you are flying harder than me Forrest, way harder.
My Pyro 650 10+9 1.07mm YY. Jive does prefer Delta termination but this wasn't a comm error, was 8 flash OverCurrent Hard Cut.

I'll throw my JLog on next time out and see what it pulls.

Hmm this is good. I have a set of loner 550's so will wait for stretch to get new blades.
Gotta say though the more I fly this as a 550 the less I feel I 'need' a stretch.
Still going to do it though, should be a real beasty on 600's.

Yea the 5.5 is probably the best and strongest 550 right now. I noticed that all the goblin 570s are running crazy headspeeds and looks heavy like all of them
