Motors cut out

I recently got some new motors from a v959, I was using it with a nqx FC on the mqx frame and it was fine. Then I starting having problems with the nqx fc and threw the original mqx fc on. It flies great but if I jam the throttle up it cuts out and drops out of the sky.

Also if I go beyond middle stick on throttle I have to go slow or it will cut out, going full throttle no matter how slow will cause it to cut out.

When it cuts out the blue led stays solid and a few seconds later the, after a short refractory period it will start up again.

Sounds to me like the fc can not supply the motor current demands.

I'm facing the same problem.
Flying the BNF stuff via my Jeti TX (with converter box) I can set a delay to the throttle signal, which means I can push the stick as fast as I want and the signal only raises with a desired delay. That works so far.

Yet I thought my motors are worn out, but if you say the same also happens with your new v959 motors...

How are your lipo's? One of my lipo's was on his last legs and gave the same problems.
