I have link rod issues as well and I have a brand new kit! .. Many of my rods looked like they were not threaded and they will not go into the plastic ball links this stinks. I did not get my kit from Helidirect can I get replacements from Outrage?

My Kit number is # KRV501

You should just call Helidirect, explain the problem, and I'm sure they'll take care of you, proto!

there are vids already on helituning website.

I have 2 700's already . Now I have 2 Velocity 50's .

Honestly, they are each great for different reasons, but the Velocity 50 I built last fall was getting 90% of my flying the rest of the year. Loved it so much I built another this winter . Not saying the 700 isn't a nice heli, but the Velocity 50 flies "almost" as big as a 90, as in power and presence. But is more locked in, and yet at the same time more nimble. I really credit Charley and team outrage for their work .

Yeah I have seen the vids on Helituning. But for me I think Bob always adds a little extra in his videos just to make sure people understand. I know I can build this one on my own but I like the reviews after he gets done building and flying. Think nI am going to end up going with the velocity 50. Everyone I ask doesn't hesitate when I ask which one between the two. They all say go with the Outrage.

I think you'll love it. Of course after you have that, you'll still want a 90. I call it "wanderhelicopterlust"

I know what you mean about still wanting a 90. I guess I will have to wait for the Outrage 90N. Loved the 700 just want to try something new.

Guys.... I would be hard pressed to put a 50 in the 90 class... If you don't have a 90 you will never know what a 90 flys like!
If this heli flys like a 90 I will say so but there IS something about a 90 that you cant deny.... Not sure I am going to be saying that but I could be proven wrong... We shall see....

However......
90's are not my fav heli though simply because of the crash costs..... I love them to death but am scared to fly a 90 as my #1 bird for cost reasons... Thus I fly a 90 (and sometimes even a 50) gently... Take less risks.... etc.... WHY you ask? I dunno? I like having a BEATER 450 or 500 as my heli to screw around with and take risks....
Thats just me though! I am not a guy to fly it like I stole it.... A simple 450 I can TRASH and TRASH is my favorite..... Old man I guess

But doesn't mean I dont own and fly 50's and 90's... I do! It's just not something I take chances with which is part of having fun
