Default Review on NCcreig work on flashing my xp12a esc

Hey folks I'm back with another review this time on my boy NCcreig. I sent NC my esc to flash it and while he was flashing he cleaned up the board and he did a great job on it. He did a professional job on it and he did it fast. I mail it to him Tuesday and he got it Wednesday and I got it back today ( Thursday ) by the way I'm in Charlotte and he is in Sanford but the big plus is he got it he did it and he did it fast and had it back to me so I can play .

So if you need someone to flash your escs he can do it I know their are others that can do it too, but I know he can because he done mines and he did a good job so I'm giving him :thum bup: for a good job, clean work, and fast service.

Here are some pics of his work.

Be blessed
Isaac

You'd be surprised how much easier it gets when you do them alot. I actually solderd my BL tail signal wire holding the 3in1 in my hands with no support yesterday. I usually use helping hands or my vise, but didn't have em with me.

Nice work craig, keep it up!

On my first BL build my hands were shaking so bad trying to solder that signal wire, it took me an hour to do. This last one when i did it, it literally took 15 seconds. Tinned, touched, done. It def does get easier. Great job though. Although someone beat me to the punch...I was offer to clean up the wiring too.

The 915 doesn't take well to governing as much as say the HP06v2 or the Spin 16.3. If you go too low in governing you experience blowouts. I feel around 80-85% is good with barely any blowout, and 65-70% super low but will get pretty good blowouts on really heavy collective (great for indoor stuff).

Me and Dylan suspect its the batteries that are the limiting factor on why the 915 doesn't govern so well. Dylan as measured 10A draw on the HP06v2, so who knows what the 915 is trying to request during full load. If you run the 915 @ 80% for around 2-2.5 minutes, than to 100% you will hear almost no increase in HS as the battery just does not have enough juice left to give it any more.

So would a CM05 motor be out of the question for the gov code?
I have a CM05 with XP-7a esc and stock tail extended boom.

Ok I have change out the 915 for the HPO8 to use the govern xp12a esc becuz it didn't do well with it . Like it was said before the first 2mins it did fine then the HS would drop off . No threat I have a Hpo8 and that fixed the problem. 100% th and 100% pitch no bog I just did that to see How good it works so im running 85% pitch and 100% th and it works great so the hpo8 will stay on the gov. Oh I forgot the it has 8t pinion.

Be blessed
Isaac
