Hi, I remember about your FrankenStorm , congrats! I have a question: how did you get these flight times?

And did you consider changing it to FBL? You could get even longer flight times and more stable hovers.

Cheers!

- 4s power setup, lowering the amperage being drawn
- Lower headspeed (~2200 rpm - governed)
- Bigger main blades (SpinBlades asymmetric 350mm)
- Longer boom/belt
- Longer flybar
- Bigger tail blades
- Complete align 450 Sport head, cage and washout arms (storm head parts are crap and not accurate at all)

I'm still testing flight times and should be able to improved more. Weather has been bad for several days.

I tried two batteries in parallel, doubling the mah, which increased flight time but wasn't happy with flight characteristics due to weight. Will experiment more with that and see.

The 12 minutes video I was using a 4s 2450mah 30c Zippy battery and used 2321mah so could have had a couple more minutes probably.

I'm also experimenting with a 4s 2650mah 35C Nano-tech battery that has the same weight as the Zippy but more mah. This should increase flight quite a bit.

I'm very happy with the single battery setup and low headspeed. Should be able to get around 15 minutes flight time along with very good flight characteristics for general fast forward and circuit flights, and that's what I'm after for general fpv use. Flight indurance and scale flying.

I'm not considering FBL for this heli. I'm keeping it the way it is and if I make another fpv heli then I'll defenitly make it FBL. In terms of improvements it would make it more stable I hear with some flight time increase. But this Frankenstorm will always have a flybar
