Default edge 130

ok so im having the most troublesome time with this esc, heres whats happening, first , when I plug in the lipo everything starts fine, except for the motor beeps , I have to hit my th back and forth one or two times before it beeps saying the motor is good to go,, now that said, when I try to fly I can hover it , but as soon as I pitch pump it , the motor shuts down , I have full control of the heli , just no motor, so to try to decide what it may be I deconncted my eflight bec and used the internal bec just to see if it still does it,, sure enough as soon as I try to do more than hover the motor will just quit, beeping can sometimes be heard from the esc but when I hook it up to the castlelink it just shows a steep drop in voltage , no error messages, , im stumped, im about to give up and bout to buy a new esc and bec , can someone please chime in on your thoughts here , id hate to say my edge died with less than 160 flights on it

That's the classic symptoms of a bad connection between the motor and ESC. Most of the time it turns out to be a bad/cold solder joint.

hmmm you might be getting somewhere , I did "hardwire" my esc to the motor, the motor wire was solid , the esc strainds , maybe I somehow cold soldered one or more wires, its worth trying right ,?

What motor? Did you check to make sure it's not damaged or shorting?
Correct timing, poles, PWM, etc.

yep its the motor the red wire don't have squat , when I wiggle it , then it will read and then flatline, so im pretty sure the wire is cut inside the motor or sumthing,, I also did the bell and wire method , and sure enough I had conuity on the wires , so a call to horizon is is order
