Thanks for the reply--it seemed that folks have stayed over or come back to fly on Sunday morning, especially those from out of the Houston area, and so we sanctioned the event for Saturday and Sunday. I'll be there Friday to let folks in should folks want to come early.

Planning on coming up again. May not make it untill Sunday. Right now Fort Bend Heli has a meeting that Saturday to plan our first Fun Fly.

I will be there on Saturday, what time does the event start. I usually get an early start.

I believe Jondabear will also be coming down from San Antonio to attend as well.

Let’s hope the cooler temperatures stay with us for another week.

I see Tom Bass is having one June 30th as well. I have never been down to their field yet so I may try that one out as well.

I spoke with John today, his wife is sick so he took her to the emergency room. Nothing serious but they are holding her overnight for observation.
The fuel is for me. I told John that he could bring it down for the Tom Bass Fun fly, so you may not need to hall it down for me.


I was with you guys last year when you won the Rave ENVE model in the raffle. Or was it the year before.


I plan to be there, what time do they open? I want to get some flights in before it heats up too much. I will be short 1 heli this weekend. I found some Bad ware marks on the piston and liner of My YS120, so no 700n DFC until the motor comes back from warranty.

Good news, John also sells Compass now. so I can get all my parts orders in one place again.

Had a great time Saturday. The guys at Space City RC were great and hosted a fun event. Looking forward to attending next year.

Was a good day very disappointed in the community though.. Everyone bailed except a very small group for night flying. And no one except myself and justin showed up today.

this event used to be do much bigger and had night flying fire works and many many pilots on both days.

Its time to get a world class annual fun fly started here in houston.

Ft bend heli is add perfect a facility for a very large fun fly as you could ever ask for.. Time to bring a new huge nation wide fun fly to houston.

Would any flyers in the Houston area be interested in demonstrating advanced hobby craft like multicopters at the Houston Mini Maker Faire on 1/19/13? There's a large outdoor area available. The web site is up now so pls check it out.
