Here are some pics of the elevator servo and bellcrank.

For setup, I will be using the Century 600+, with Rotortech 550s, ESC and Batts TBD, but probably 6S 3700s, and 7S emoli. Was thinking the 45HV for the ESC.

Trevor.

P.S. sorry Will for highjacking your thread

That redesign on the elev. link is amazing. That eliminates the need for the guide pin and the guide. It looks very stout and positive. Great pics. Thanks for the look. I would like it if the 620 canopy came with the 550. I see no need for the metal extras that come in the 620 kit and I want a premium 550 size bird. TimT

Wow, that elevator set-up is nice! I have to get one of these heli's. Where did you get the servo wheels? Do they match the cyclic distance also?

Hi, the servos wheel for the elevator is an old alum one from century. The other ones are large Futabe wheels drilled to 12.5mm to give the correct spacing.

Nice pics! Only thing I see concerning is the rear canopy pin... Looks like it would break the frame in a crash... It's kinda just sticking out ther on a tab. Why didnt then bridge the frame across there?

I was sort of wondering that too, and from what I can see the main reason they didn't bridge the gap is the push rod for the swash runs there, and would interfere with the bridge.

I was thinking of replacing the bolt with a nylon one perhaps to allow that to shear off in a crash.
